Mrs. Brandy Hansberry


Brandy has worked in the childcare field for 27 years and been a director for over 16.  She is married to James and they have 4 children: LJ, Eli, Ian, and Mya. 

Ms. Chelsea Harrell

Assistant Director

Chelsea has been working in childcare for over four years. She has 3 children- a 6 year old boy and twins (boy and girl) that are 1. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Chelsea has a sweet and graceful spirit that is a blessing to those around her. We are so thankful she is part of the leadership at Legacy!

Mrs. Palmer Walker

Henning Class

Palmer graduated from UCA with a bachelors degree in 2017 and now is working on her Masters in Teaching. She has worked in childcare since coming to college. Palmer and her husband have been married for a year and they love spending their time off together. Palmer says, “I absolutely love caring for the babies at Legacy Learning. I love being there to watch the babies in each new stage and grow!” Palmer has a calming, quiet spirit that is perfect for taking care of the smallest ones in our care.

Mrs. Whitney Kilgore

Davis Class

Whitney is 26 years old and has worked in childcare for over 8 years. Whitney says there is truly no other field that brings so much joy to her life! She received an Associate of Arts in Teaching in her hometown - Mountain Home, Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoying the beautiful outdoors with her husband Alex, and loving on their sweet dog, Luca! She is also excited to announce they are welcoming their first baby into the world this July! Whitney exudes joy and has one of the sweetest spirits. One of the greatest quotes she loves living by is this, “Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.” And lastly, her favorite scripture. “I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4: 1-2.

Miss Melody Rivas

Sutton & Ballew Class

Melody is originally from Fort Worth, Texas but has been living in Conway since August of 2016. She will graduate with her B.S in General Family and Consumer Science in December 2020 at UCA. Melody enjoys hiking and running on different trails during her free time. She has been working in child care for about 2 years. Melody says her favorite part of working with children is teaching about kindness and thoughtfulness at a young age, so when they grow and meet new friends they too can spread kindness and make the world a better place. Melody definitely teaches that through her actions and we are thankful to have her at Legacy!

Ms. Natalie Barker

Lyon Class

Natalie is 39 years of age with a loving husband and beautiful 12 year old daughter. She has an Associates In Early Childhood Development from the University of Miami and has been working in child care for over 10 years. "I strive to provide a safe and educational environment for your child. A person you can drop off your child and have peace of mind that they are receiving the best care possible. My goal is to provide an environment where children thrive and learn new skills daily, while gaining confidence in their own abilities. You will observe me in the classroom at all times interacting with the children and you will also see the impact of experience and the dedication I have for children. I’m very excited to be a part of this great center. "

Ms. Madison Taylor

Ballew Class

Madison is 22 years old and from Taylor, AR. She moved to Conway this summer. She recently received her Bachelor's degree in biology and is working on her Masters of Arts in Teaching. Madison has a true passion for children and has been working with children ever since high school. In her free time, Madison loves to spend time with friends and family, especially her boyfriend, Colin. She loves to be active, play sports, and work on craft projects. We are so excited to have her teach and love on the children at Legacy!

Miss Tori Crites

Inman Class

Tori has worked in childcare for over 3 years. She is currently a senior at UCA, working to earn her bachelors in middle level education. Tori has always had a passion and love for working with kids and watching them grow! She is from Sherwood, Arkansas and spends much of her free time going there to see her family. While at Legacy, you can usually find Tori singing and dancing with all of the sweet kiddos or being the little girls hair stylist. We are so blessed to have Tori caring for our children!

Miss Carly Arp

Henning Class

"I am blessed to be one of the infant teachers here at Legacy Learning Center. I am a student at UCA and I’m majoring in Psychology and minoring in Philosophy. I come from a big family and I am the second oldest of six, so I am very comfortable taking care of little ones. In my free time I enjoy visiting my family in Mountain Home, babysitting, and going outside! To me, Legacy is like home. My hope is to extend that same level of personal comfort and care to you and your child. I look forward to every day I get to spend with the sweet babies!” Everyone that meets Carly knows immediately what a special person she is and she is a huge blessing to us at Legacy!

Miss Emily Hubbard

Davis Class

Emily is 22 years old and was born and raised in Mountain Home, AR. She has worked in childcare for 3+ years and is currently a senior at UCA, majoring in education K-6. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her friends and family! Emily says, “I am so blessed to work at Legacy and I am so excited to watch your kiddos grow each day!” It’s a joy to watch Emily care for our children and Legacy is equally as blessed to have her on our team!

Miss Emily Hickam

Sutton Class

Emily is 20 years old and a Junior at UCA studying elementary education with hopes to continue her education with a master in administration after undergrad. She has always loved kids and loves getting to watch them learn and grow! Emily says, “I am a military brat and grew up in many different states and a couple different countries. In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family and go shopping!” Emily’s sweet and kind spirit makes her a wonderful addition to the Legacy family!

Miss McKinley Clark

McKinley is from Benton, AR. She is a sophomore at UCA studying Elementary Education. McKinley loves traveling, watching movies, and hanging out with kiddos!! We are so thankful for McKinley’s heart and smiling face!

Enrichment Activities

In addition to our curriculum, Legacy Learning offers three opportunities for educational enrichment-


Chapel will be held weekly. This will include music, prayer time, and a devotional that is age appropriate.


Children of all ages are able to enjoy uplifting songs during this time each week!


Storytime is a great way to promote literacy among our children. books, flannel board stories and puppets are used to build upon children's natural enthusiasm for books and reading.
